Abstract

This paper presents a web application that aims at easing the analysis of seismic catalogs. Indeed, seismic catalogs present a combination of both independent (e.g. main shock, background seismicity) and correlated (e.g. fore shocks and after shock) seismic events, and segregating these populations is a key step to lead any statistical analysis of the seismic activity. We propose an application that uses spatio-temporal clustering to identify seismic sequences of fore shocks, main shock and after shocks. Then, we define a control quality test to evaluate the consistency of isolated seismic sequences. Our application was tested on the R[{\'e}]NaSS catalog limited to the Pyrenees.
