{3D} Model in Stratigraphic Grid - Faulted Layer Modeling

Abstract

.The 3D grid data structure provides an efficient medium for representing the spatial geology, stratigraphy and vanatlon of the characterization variables. This paper will present a 3D geological model construction in irregular grid or, what we cali in gOcad, in a stratigraphie grid. In the same time it will be shown how to model a faulted layer which has the continuous property values in the dis placement zone and how it is possible to make a cut-away section in 3D model in order to better visualize the internai stratigraphy.
