Abstract
This paper describes the implementation of the algorithms for the Levy fractal reservoir model with seismic conditioning into a G CAD module. The advantage of using G CAD as an integrated reservoir characterisation tool is that the modeller can use G CAD to incorporate seismic data prior to inversion (stacked, migrated amplitudes or inverted impedances) in a framework consistent with the stochastic model of the reservoir. Thus a consistent set of assumptions are applied to the problems of wavelet estimation, and sampling the space of possible reservoirs conditional to the seismic data and the wavelet.
