Abstract
Stratigraphie grid are often used to represent reservoirs. However, there are a lot of problems for ealculating the parametrie eoordinates (stratigraphie grid UVW space) of a real space (XY Z space) point. We present a way of ealculating these eoordinates in an elementary volume of the stratigraphie grid defined by eight corner points. We first present the definition of the volume ealled a Ce1l3d, then, the algorithm and the solution for degenerated cases and numerieal precision problem.
