Abstract

This contribution proposes an alternative to PyNoddy for efficiently running simulations of geological models based on kinematical operators. The proposed solution implements similar functionalities to the original Noddy tool, directly implemented in native Python language and compatible with Jupyter notebook applications. Beyond historical features, the object-oriented implementation makes it easier to define new operators and bridge this simulator with other Python tools.
