Constraining a Piecewise linear function defined on a 3D complex

Abstract
Recent advances in 3D tessellation open the door to an intensive use of the decomposition of 3D
geological volumes into sets of tetrahedra. In such a decomposition, the tetrahedra play a role similar
to the role of triangles used to model geological surfaces in gOcad. In this article, we present a gallery
of DSI constraints which can be useful in geological applications such as, for example, 3D balanced
restoration.
