Fault extraction in Goscope : Continuation

in: 24th gOcad Meeting, ASGA

Abstract

This paper is the continuation of the fault extraction tools paper presented last year during the 23rd gOcad meeting. It introduces a new property representing the fault by using the anomaly on the vertical sinusoidal signal around the faults. We also present some new tools to interpolate the property and to build a triangulated surface from the selected points. Next, we make the synthesis of all the available tools for extracting faults and we show how we have trie to automate the extraction work. We finally en d the paper by a series of considerations about the faults extraction from seismic cube.
