Implementing G-Maps in gOcad

Abstract

In this chapter we present shortly the architecture of a new topological model for GOCAD. This new model is based on the notion of GMaps and is developed, since february 97, in close cooperation with Strasbourg University. A complete implementation should be achieved for the fall 97 and used as the fun dation of a series of new researches in the field of 4D topology. In addition, we think that this mode! should con tribu te to uniEy all the topological algorithms currently used in GOCAD.
