EDITING LAYERS ON A SOLID CROSS SECTION AND IN A WEILER MODEL

Abstract
The layer is a tool to manipulate regions. These regions appear in two objects: • cross section, • Weiler model. After generating a cross section or a Weiler model, we obtain a set of regions. But there are no information linking these regions to the real geological situation. Here are two examples of information: 1. several regions can belong to the same geological layer, 2. several regions representing sub-layers can be grouped into a global layer. The notion of layer allows to make links between regions.
