Rapid Scenario Generation for Associating Borehole Fault Observations
in: Sixth EAGE Digitalization Conference \& Exhibition, pages 1-5, European Association of Geoscientists \& Engineers
Abstract
We propose expert rules and a dedicated sampling algorithm to correlate fault and fracture data between sparse borehole observations. The method shows consistent results on synthetic data, and can be used to manage fault-related uncertainties both during and after drilling.
