Abstract

A brief outline of an estimation method of regionalized unit vectors based on the general ideas of kriging (BLUE) applied in embedding spaces has been presented on the occasion of the 20th gOcad meeting (Boogaart and Schaeben, 2000). Here we shall elaborate on some details and present practical results including an empirical comparison of different version of kriging corresponding to different model assumptions of isotropy.
